My passion for photography was first ignited whilst studying it as part of my Graphic Design degree. Photography plays a large part in the design industry, but when my two children were born I realised just how powerful photography could also be in capturing those fleeting moments that pass so quickly as they grow.
I became quickly dissatisfied with the type of children’s portraits that were on offer - I didn’t want to just have a series of pictures of my children sitting in front of ‘cloudy’ backgrounds or white studios!
I count myself very lucky that I now get to combine my love and knowledge of photography and my creative design background with my fascination of working with children and families, allowing me to really engage with 'little people' through to adults in a way that is reflected in the photographs I capture and will evoke real, lasting and precious memories for my clients.
